Summary: V for Vendetta/Death Note Crossover. L isn't in England to take on V. He's technically gathering evidence against Sutler. But when Matt gets caught up (quite literally) in the action at the BTN, he may have to broaden his focus. The question becomes, what is justice, anyways?

Great job so far! I hated V for Vandetta, and originally did not want to read this crossover. But eventually I ran out of things to read, and now I can only say "wow." Thank you thank you thank you for keeping it real. No hug-happy Light or cliche sex addict Mello, just the characters in their awkward glory.
The only thing I wish is that you'd let Light x L or L x Light creep in.
From the way L thinks back to the Kira case, as the pinnacle of his career, it just makes me wish there was more to it!
Maybe a repressed love/affection?

I think that comes up a lot more later on, as L starts to deal more with V. He starts drawing parallels between their relationships...

And I'm not sure if it'll ever be genuine Light X L, because L in this is awkward and pretty much about as sexual as a teacup, but I hope to convey the feverish intensity of their dynamic.

Whether or not it was about sex (here, it wasn't,) there was a lot of love and hatred and intensity, and while L thinks he may have gotten away from it, it's not something he's ever going to completely forget.

That makes sense. I don't really view L as sexual, either. He could have sex, that wouldn't be that shocking, but I don't think he's the type to seduce people or start flirting heavily
