Suffered a crushing defeat for the 2nd time at a high-level meeting today. It was just me against a panel of 12. Blah!
Sought comfort by doing some retail therapy after the meeting. I was looking for a suitable travel watch that has both digital and analog features, and the latest Casio G-Shock seems to fit the bill.
This is one of the latest Casio watches, retailed at $255 in town; the shop was selling it at $245. But I wasn't prepared to pay retail prices, and managed to bargain for better price. The offers were progressively lowered from $245 to $200 to $195, and finally $190. A 22% reduction from the retail price.
