I've been in the Netherlands for 40+ days now. Work's coming along, I suppose. Late last Thursday night, my new roommate (another postdoc here, with previous affiliations including Stanford & Yale) and I moved into our new apartment. Dude... that is a serious amount of white in that apartment... I hope you have some awesome posters/paintings/SOMETHING to color-ify it.

Haha, I am waiting on a bunch of things from the States to get shipped, including some wall art. We also might be able to paint, but my roommate seems a bit loath to do so.

Thanks! I have some Apartment Therapy reading to do. Roommate & I spent a long while last night listing what we needed to acquire & what we wanted to do with the space.

Some of the street views are slightly cropped to kill window frames, etc, but yeah :) The balcony is such a great place to be at 6pm, watching the world go by. So many bikes and cute dogs and pretty lasses...
