Are two different bible studies necessary? ("Yes" is a totally valid answer to this question. As a not-remotely-religious person, I have no sense of calibration of how much time one might want to devote to religious purposes.)

What are your other classes?

Are you planning to practice the hands-off SVP style that Brown was a fan of, or something more hands-on? How much planning should the PCs do?

The two Bible studies are necessary, though the one I attend is only a 1.5-hour time commitment a week, which is not a big deal. And it's fun, so it's a positive thing. I *am* obligated to run one, which will take more time/energy, since I have to prep, poke people to go, pretend I know what I'm doing etc... but I've made a commitment, and it's something I'm excited about. More so than being SVP, I'm (somewhat) sad to say ( ... )

Maybe you can audit one of the non-required classes?

aaand I can't audit, alas. The D-Lab class is not auditable, and I need the literature class for pre-med. ;_;
