Did you like the Poisonwood Bible? I loved that.

The Poisonwood Bible is one of my favorite books written during my lifetime. I basically read it in one sitting. Do we read great books quickly because they arrest us and don't let us move until we've finished? Or is it merely that when we take the time to read an entire book in one sitting, the magic of that book is heightened?
