oscar picks:
we can all agree on wins for monique, christopher waltz (that's not quite right), sandra bullock, jeff bridges and kathryn bigelow, yes? great, we have an accord. i am going to take the hurt locker in a mild upset. it's a much better movie than avatar, and a film with a higher degree of difficulty.

hurt locker is the industry favorite. at this point avatar would be the upset. not just for me...for those in the know.

i was looking at gambling websites, as those are the only places that post actual odds. and maybe that was a tad short sighted, as people lay money on favorites.
