The battered landrover drew into the muddy yard before a wellington-booted Lester clambered out. He walked towards a secluded paddock and smiled when he spotted Monty. This was certainly better for him than the ARC, with space for him to roam and fresh air to breath; even if Lester hadn't quite managed to find suitable company for his friend.
Lester leaned on the fence surrounding the paddock, smiling when Monty's trunk twitched, then his huge friend turned, trumpeting when he caught sight of Lester.
Lester patted Monty's trunk, knowing the farm had been worth every penny it had cost him.
