He wasn't about to let rumours stop him, he needed the cash and they could always lay more eggs.
He froze at a sound, wondering if it was the bloody security guard and his dog.
He could feel something watching him and swallowed as he saw the large, yellow and evil-looking eyes staring at him over the large, hooked beak.
He turned to run, knowing he should have listened to the rumours as he heard it's harsh shriek as it chased him. An answering shriek had him swerving and he swore he'd never touch another egg if he got away.
