But I'm not. I'm wide awake! I have been working on the Forest Bodice sweater, and I finally got it all on one needle! Mind you I have to use 2 circs like straights for this project since it is soooo big now that it has the arm stitches too. I feel the need to get this sucker done asap. Hopefully tomorrow, and this next week I will find the time to ( Read more... )

hey! You got an lj address?
Thanks for the compliments, I really tried to make sure that it was nice and fitted with waist shaping and such. Boxy sweaters are lame.
I feel like I'm in the home stretch of this project & I can't wait to wear it!

Hi Nessa,
I commented back to you over at my blog but I wanted to drop you a comment here so you don't think I'm ignoring you. Yes, I'm still interested in doing a craft fair. It would be fun to do together. I'll see if I can find out about any possibilities. Last week I totally forgot about knit night on Friday, and this week I'll be away too, but maybe we can catch up at next week's Friday knit night. Or email and talk about it. Hey, I love the sweater you're working on, and your sketches are so cool. Did you have that Tofurkey stuff for Thanksgiving, the stuff with the stuffing in the middle? I kind of like being vegetarian at Thanskgiving, its easier to save room for dessert.

hey Ellen,

I'm so glad you commented here, I didn't know you commented at your blog too.
I didn't have tofurkey, frankly it sounds pretty nasty so I've never tried it. I did have this Veggie Chick'n Breast from Gardein. It was pretty good, but the sauce that came on it was Tuscan Tomato Marinade so it wasn't really a thanksgiving flavour. Oh well. It tasted good, but the meat eaters all said it was far from being turkey. Whatever, if I wanted to eat Turkey I wouldn't be a vegetarian right? I always do a nice mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, walnut & cranberry stuffing, veggies, and by that point I'm pretty much stuffed. Although I did force in some pumpkin pie :-)
Let's catch up about the craft fair when you come to knit nite
