Yay - congrats! I love to spin, I find it super relaxing. And as I always say - If I ever accidentally go back in time I'll have a trade to rely on! Welcome to the club!!

thanks! If the world transport industry collapses, and we are all plunged into the past, then we'll be nice and cozy in our handspun hanknits!!

That looks really nice. The color, the texture. Great job. Did you know that I suffer from msmw syndrome (monkey see monkey wants)?
I didn't do much of a knit in public I think I had enough for yesterday. It took me two hours to get to Sooke after knit nite yesterday so you can imagine that by now i have my socks done.
Hope to see you during the week.

ha ha that's funny! msmw syndrome... :-P
I knit one lace repeat on the Flowerbasket Shawl today, outside on my porch. I guess that counts as knitting in public :-)
See you next week! Friday, same time & place? & I'll try to remember what day of the week it is!

Thanks! I would have probably messed up too, but there are a couple of spinners in my knitting group and they got me started & showed me the ropes. I don't know if you are ever up for trying the spinning thing again, but if you are ( ... )
