Today was so tiring, and I am not sure why. I think it is because it was a cloudy, overcast day, which sort of drags me down a bit. I'm going to feature some garden photos to cheer things up a bit; these were taken recently in my garden.

Oooh, I really liked that book when it came out too, but then I realized maybe it's too girly for me. I had wanted to make the "Girl Tank" and the "Feather and Fan Cardigan".

I don't think the girl tank would be too girly for you. Obviously not in pink though.
I was looking over the pattern for Feather & Fan & the pattern notes are really confusing. When I knit this, I'll need to get loads of help, lucky I work with Bonnie! Oh I heard about the record # of knitters on Tuesday! We really are gonna fill khona one of these days soon! Maybe we should start thinking about what to do if we grow too many for Khona!!

The beret looks great. Not a lot of people can pull off that colour!

Those are some cute patterns!

I've been eyeing the February Lady Sweater, too. (though not in your colourway, don't worry!) I have enough Bernat Lana in cream, I'm debating making it in cream vs trying to koilaid dye 800+ yards of yarn for it.......

Ha ha! That pattern is SO POPULAR!! I just say baaaa and leave it at that ;-P I wonder how easy/hard it would be to get all the skeins the same colour.

Since I couldn't reply to you via e-mail, Ms Maiden, I think I've been knitting lace since May 2007, as the Flower basket Shawl (E.A. Clark) was my first try at lacework!
