Well The Knitting Olympics are over. And I didn't complete one single project on my list. Oh well, sometimes life just gets in the way. I did, however, finish the July/August Lady sweater of Ravelry fame last night.
Wow you have been busy! I like the second picture - it's so like a seagull to have one foot perched like that. :) I won't be around for your show, :( but I hope you get a great response from it!
Thanks! I am really crossing my fingers, it would be great to earn some money to help with text books and such! I'll try to get out tomorrow night, but I'll have to see how much I get done today & tomorrow during the day.
Wow, I love LOVE the seagull! I always see gulls like that around here and when I was younger I always thought they were poor, missing-leg birdies until my parents told me they sometimes just tuck it under their bodies like that. Ha!
Also, that quesadilla sounds amazing and I wish I had one right now. Mmm.
Thank you Bertha! I was undecided as to whether to paint it that way, I thought it looked a bit legless, but I'm glad you think it is realistic ;-) It's funny that, that's just what you thought when you were a kid!
I had the idea I post a comment before but it's not here. Whatever. I love your cardi, the color the design, beautiful. That's a very nice painting and I agree with Bertha it is very realistic. I'm glad you can show your work, it's going to be great I know.
