knittedpippin's friend wasn't so scary - just very surprised and delighted to see me, which is understandable. However, I've decided not to take her on full time as she didn't know where Spring was and she does eat the postman an awful lot.
The best bit was going back home actually. It did rain a lot in Scotland and I had a lot of important paperwork to catch up on and Matters of State to attend to and a very important tea to eat.
KM and KP: Looks like a wonderful trip, even if you didn't find spring. I so enjoyed your pics and hobbity togetherness. And KM, I would never question your equipment. :)
My goodness, but you really did look everywhere, knittedmerry! I'm very proud of you and knittedpippin for looking so hard, and for protecting the non-knitted members of your party from dangers.
Oh! Yu'v gotte a stripey culered fingy too aswel!! Did yu hav Spryng awl the tyme? Hav yu bin hydeing it in yore grene lumpy fings awl the tyme we wuz warking & luking for it?
Not at all, dear KnittedPippin. KnittedMerry will explain it all to you (and I suspect you're about to get a lovely snack as well). None of your friends would ever hide spring from you.
Please excuse knittedpippin he got a little over excited when he saw your icon, believing it to be (mistakenly I trust) the Spring we have been looking for.
But as you point out, we did look everywhere, so I'm sure if you had it all along we would have spotted it poking out of your pocket quite easily.
Yours truly, K. M. The Mag PS: I now have to go and give KP a hot milky drink with honey and a large plate of buttered crumpets, just to calm him down a little.
knittedpippin is only mildly acquainted with Madame Nessie and that is because I introduced them in the first place. They do maintain a passing corresspondence but she remains my devoted admirer as you can imagine.
I am seeing quite a lot of Summer here now as well and I do find it hot - it has been well into the 90's. How hot is it where you are? About 9,900°F (5,500°C) I suppose and, you're right, that would be too hot for me, but I'm guessing that Chibi is no mere mortal.
I think the reason it is too hot might be my fault, because by losing Spring, Summer got a bit muddled and forgot what temperature it was supposed to be. I shall have to speak to it.
Nevertheless, I shall continue my story of our gallant search for Spring soon.
Its been in 100-115°F out here. Califorina we are the Shake and Bake state.
Chibi Obi Wan has being stay cool with nice cold drinks, he likes to use the Force to put the plastic ice cudes dance, staying in the shade with an Umberlla and sitting in front of the AC vent.
Chibi Obi thinks it's cool you know Madame Nessie, he think she neat.

I am glad you would not question my equipment. It does not like being spoken to, especially if you ask it sports or music questions.

PS: You can discuss pancakes or parallel autonomy with it anytime.

What a wonderful trip. Chibi Obi Wan was very impress that KnittedPippin knows the Loch Ness monster.
So sorry that you didn't find Spring. You could come here and see summer. Then again it might be too hot.
Lovely to see more adventures from you.
