My dear KM the Mag, how lucky you are to have real snow. We in Boston have only a tiny trace and some cold weather to remind us it is winter but nothing as nice and fluffy as your pretty snowfall. I loved all your outfits, BTW, but agree that the elven cloaks are best and warmest. You both looked so handsome in them--especially against the lovely white backdrop. You should wear them more ( ... )

Dear celandine

It's not really luck. I ordered the snow a couple of months ago, for Yule, but it must have got held up in the post.

Perhaps you could get some decent snow from ebay? I find I can buy most things there, especially now I know llinos's Paypal a/c password.

I am a martyr to Llinos's outrageous bossiness, but don't worry, I've ordered an especially large snowball to get her with later - I just hope the postman can manage to carry it.

knittedpippin recovered quite quickly from the snowball in face incident and tartan duckie has given him some good advice on staying snowball-free in the future.

Yours truly,
K. M. The Mag

Dear KnittedMerry,

What a wonderful thing to find after a day of house cleaning an adventure from you and KnittedPippin.

It must have been wonderful to play in the snow. Chibi Obi-Wan was quite jealous as he has never seen snow yet. (We live in Southern California so we don't get snow :'( )

Poor KnittedPippin, snowballs in the face must hurt. Bad aiming on your part KnittedMerry.

Hope neither one of you catch a cold from being out in the cold. Because those are not fun.

Hugs and Kisses

Shawna & Chibi Obi-Wan

PS, Don't forget to have hot apple cider to warm up with.

Dear Shawna and Chibi Obi-Wan

Goodness me! Your house must have been very messy if it took you all day to find our adventure!

Chibi Obi-Wan, I promise to send you some snow the next time I write. I'll just pop some in the envelope.

It wasn't bad aiming, it was v.good aiming. Bad aiming would have been if I had missed KP.

I don't think either of us will catch a cold, because we didn't have our colds net set out and we didn't see any in the garden anyway. I think they must have migrated.

Yours truly,
K. M. The Mag

PS We don't have hot cider here. We only have regular cold cider and knittedpippin isn't allowed any because it is too alcoholic and he gets very wobbly.

Dear KnittedMerry,

Chibi Obi-Wan thanks you in advance for the snow.

I glad that you didn't catch any colds, they are really not fun.

Hugs and Kisses
Shawna and Chibi Obi-Wan

PS Cider here is most non-alcoholic which really makes it nice for a cold day. Must try the alcoholic kind if I can find any.

My that was very exciting and I do believe that you had more snow than we did. That snow-surfing looked like lots of fun. Oh, Errol wants me to tell you that he especially enjoyed the photo in which Knitted Pippin was wearing that fireman's uniform. (I have no idea why, but Errol is very fond of that hat.) That you for sharing your photos!

Dear grey wonderer

We probably had more snow than you did because I put my order in quite early in the season. You have to be fast or all the best snow gets snapped up v. quickly.

knittedpippin has heard from llinos that Errol might be coming to stay and he is now busy hiding his hat!

Yours truly,
K. M. The Mag

Next year I will remember to order my snow early. In fact I am thinking of ordering it the end of this month so that it will arrive in time for Christmas next year.

Tell Knitted Pippin that if Errol and I do get to come and visit, I promise to have a very serious talk with Errol about not bothering Knitted Pippin's hat. It's all rather strange really. Errol doesn't own any hats and has never expressed a desire to wear one. Maybe I will buy Errol a hat and see if that solves the problem. I'll let you know how that works out.

That was a great adventure, knittedmerry! We had snow here too, on Thursday, but I had to work in it rather than play with it. I'm glad llinos was looking after you so well, because going outside in your holiday clothes really wasn't all that sensible.

Dear melilot

You shouldn't listen to llinos! I don't! She's really v. stupid and knows nothing - especially as she isn't even knitted!

You too seem to have made a mistake. You shouldn't work in the snow, it's much better to work inside in the office, otherwise your computer will get all soggy!

Yours truly,
K. M. The Mag

What a delightful story! You boys should really be more appreciative of llinos as she takes very good care of you. What would you have done if she hadn't found your warm cloaks or had a nice tea (with warm PJ's) waiting for you after your romp in the snow?

Truly, Your KM magnificence - surely such a loyal subject deserves more praise?

Dear namastenancy

I show my appreciation of llinos by living in her house and eating her food and allowing her to do things for me, which she repays by trying to boss me around.

Although perhaps I shouldn't call her stupid quite so much, even when she is. I suppose I owe her that much.

Yours truly,
K. M. the Mag
