I've only read half of her new book, so she can still read the other half

You're so generous, knittedmerry!

A shame about only one slice left, but a more clever cake would have had llinos' name on it so you'd know it was for her.

*hugs all of you*

Dear Shirebound,

I am v. generous! Anyway, the book was quite silly as it didn't seem to have any hobbits in it. What's the point of a story without hobbits?

And if Llinos was clever she'd have a longer name, then she would have to have a bigger cake! My cakes are enormous, simply because I'm intelligent and magnificent enough to have a v. long name.

Yours truly,
KnittedMerry The Truly Magnificent and Beneficient!
PS - See what big cake you need to put all that on!

Oh, KM, I think you are lucky Llinos and Marigold love you and KP so much. Many people would not have been so understanding about your mistake.

I hope Llinos, and you, enjoy the day.

Oh, and yes, I do think GW probably meant that shirt for Llinos.:)

Dear garnet took

It's not luck that makes Llinos and Marigold love me so much! It's my Magnificent charisma and general loveableness! Although in KP's case it probably is lucky, especially as he makes a lot of mistakes and mess at the same time.

I'm not sure Llinos was that understanding! She called it Grand Theft Birthday and told me to stay out of her purse while I'm at it! Cheek!

Yours truly,
K. M. The Mag

PS - I suppose I might give her the t-shirt back, I'll have to see how much cake I get for tea today.

Dear shirehobbit

The labels on them said confusing things like, "To Llinos"" and ""Happy Birthday Llinos"" so it was hard to tell!

I am very noble, especially in the end!

Yours truly,
K. M. The Mag

PS I don't think she understood, but then she isn't v.good at understanding difficult things!

I always look forward to your adorable and charming posts. Ilinos is a good and gracious lady so I assume that she will forgive you -- as always! But really - tsk, tsk. Your Mag KM should really know better!

Happy Birthday from your humble servant in SF who is wishing you many many more (complete with non-nibbled upon cake).

Dear namastenancy

I am sure that this Ilinos person of whom you speak is a delightful and well-bred lady - especially as she seems to be a friend of yours. I wish I could say the same for Llinos, but sadly she is not nearly as understanding as your dear friend.

Thank you though for the Birthday wishes, may I keep them, or do I have to give them to Llinos? I hope not!

Yours truly,
K. M. The Mag
PS I rarely see non-nibbled cake - one consequence of living with KnittedPippin and his friends!

Knitted Merry, I was very annoyed with the people who selected the items that were for sale when we went to see Shadowfax. They only had two sizes of the shirt left and they had no Knitted Hobbit sized shirts at all! I don't know what they must have been thinking but it was poor planning on their part. I must admit that you and Knitted Pippin looked very good in the shirt when you wore it together. I hadn't considered that option. I did purchase that shirt for Llinos and I was slightly concerned that it might be too large for her as well. In any case, I owe both you and Knitted Pippin a present now so I will have to think on that and see what I can locate.

I hope Llinos had a lovely birthday. I am certain that the two of you helped her celebrate once you realized that she was actually using her birthday this year! Love to all and I will see you in September!

Dear grey wonderer

Don't worry, the shirt fits us quite well, in fact it is so conveniently large that we are able to wear it twice which saves on dressing time considerably.

Nevertheless, I am quite happy that you owe KnittedPippin and me a pressie. Just off the top of my knittedhead, I would like a

Dear Knitted Merry,
I am most relieved to hear that the shirt will work for you and Knitted Pippin.
Sadly, the rumors of my splendid and unending wealth are just that, rumors. Though I would like to gift you with a few of the items on your short, but very well thought out list, I am afraid that I lack the cash flow for such an purchase. I am trying to save enough money for my up-coming trip to Scotmoot and so I am not likely to be able to purchase anything as magnificent as the items pictured in your post. I will, however, be sending along a much smaller offering within a week or so. Postage is so dreadfully high now that I suspect shipping a "Fat Boy" would be quite costly. You and Knitted Pippin will receive a package from me in the very near future. I will try to do the best with the resources that I have. Tell Knitted Pippin that I am considering his suggestion as well as a few ideas of my own.

Carry on being Magnificient,

GW
