Some Finished Objects
I started teaching myself to knit in January and finally got around to taking pictures of my completed projects.
An afghan in Lion Brand Homespun - it became very boring after a while.
Knitty's Sonnet in 100% cotton. It's heavy enough that I need to add some loops to anchor the shoulders so they won't slip down. Also, I severly underestimated how much yarn I would need and had to go back to the LYS twice. It took about 6 weeks to make.
Close up of (still unblocked) Branching Out in Silky Wool. I definitely want to try more lace.
Knitty's Sitcom Chic in Knitpicks Main Line. I finished this on Tuesday after a month of work. I learned the magic loop method to do the sleeves.
Socks are next on my list to try - I did a gauge swatch last night.
Knitting has turned out to be very addictive!
