Have you guys heard of these new querrilla knitting groups taking Tokyo by storm? One is called Kedako (literally "woolen/hairy octopus") and the other is called Ami Kishu Dan ("Surprise Attack Knitting Group"). Want to join one of these groups! Love the octopi on the streetcar! Want the pattern!

(By the way, y'all don't be freaked out by the weird spam. Why is that here? It appears to be a discussion regarding a flower-arrangement seen on-line. An English translation for the first one is: "It's (the flower arrangement) kind of Hawaiian-style but it's kind of French-style as well, isn't it?" The second one says: "This kind of French style done in Sogetsu (school of Bonsai) style can look sort of Hawaiian but if you have a low level of technique it can look clumsy and amateurish."
Apparently, Queens can throw shade in every language . . . :0)
