Hi everyone. We (your lovely moderators) have noticed an upswing in the number of posts targeting individual users, rather than the snark worthy material within those posts. This post is not directed at any particular snarkers, it is a general problem we've been discussing over the past few weeks

*waves* Hello! I happen to have just applied for membership (I pre-emptively tried to join the snark, I know) and then went off to read the admin posts. Which, of course, means that I have just now discovered that you would like me to be vouched for by a member. Turns out that someone on my flist is a member of the comm--I'll contact her and ask her if she'll vouch for me to y'all.
