If I were one of them, I'd eventually get really, really, really tired of the assumption that everyone who belongs to the community is female.

Which is why i try to use the term "folks" instead of "girls" or "ladies" when asking questions of the community-at-large. Though i may have regrettably slipped up once or twice. :P
