grover_rover2k Aaaand, I am halfway through a pair of fingerless gloves for myself. (Yes, another pair. Quiet, you.)

The main chunk of my Christmas shopping and knitting is done, which is to say, I can plunge into the Holiday with what I have to give and feel like I did a pretty good job, but I still may make or buy a couple more things for supplemental reasons. Feels pretty good to say that. I just need to manage to make it to the post office before it closes to mail out the several packages I have before the lines get any longer than they already are.
I suppose I'll spend the next few weeks of possible unemployment knitting for pleasure (shocking concept, I know). I hope to knock out some of my major WIPs around the New Year, what with that whole "turning over a new leaf" thing and all. Although there is
a pattern for delicious pair of cabled socks that is tempting me at the moment. Must. Remain. Strong.
Mom did email me her Bourbon Cake recipe and my grandmother's Apple Crisp recipe, so I suspect there will be some baking in my future as well. Which means I should probably go clean the kitchen.
