I love how you handled this. Your character voices are absolutely spot-on, and I loved the little cameos from Ryan and Esposito! I so very much enjoy reading anything you write, and your Jack/Beckett is an especial guilty pleasure of mine.

LOL I'm glad to hear this as sadly with fic like this poor Castle kind of gets the shaft. Though that's what he gets for running off to the Hamptons away from where the action is. :D

It's also good to hear that the characters sound right as I haven't actually written any straight Castle-fic. (Also somehow I have this mental image of Ryan and Esposito walking into the bar for the first time together. Someone stop me before this happens in Mixes Muses or something.)
