I was honestly so alarm when Batman busted in on their happiness! Genuinely, really alarmed and concerned! That's how well you've written this characters though, it's just so easy to become very vested in Patrick and Joker ^^ But boy was I alarm, my heart skipped a beat ( ... )

Hahha! I kind of hinted at Batman a tiny bit in the earlier chapters so I had to bring him back! And Batman is a scary mofo, so I'm glad you found it suspenseful.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked the happy ending. The way things ended up was inspired a lot by you, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. :D

I'm glad you mentioned the very last line too. I wrote and deleted it like five times, unsure if I should put that in or not, and finally decided to. I think I made the right choice.

Thanks for reading!

Don't ever apologize, it was worth the wait, hopefully it was fun to you as it was fun for me.

...which started as a one-shot/PWP and got out of control. but it's about losing control.

This was an absolutely incredible trip. I'm so happy I took part of it. Apart of the hot hot sex, the delicious violence, for me it's really about how Patrick changed.

Choosing to pair this two psychos, bringing such a neat conclusion, as a "happy" ending as it could be. What stroke me the most, it's the identity issue concerning my man Patrick:“Batman knows who you are, Patsy. and that "mask" that Joker painted on his face.

I think this great trip should remain just as it is. Such a great conlusion. The smutty, crazy violent possibilities of Bateman/Joker aside (and other plotbunnies with The Batman stay in the backburner)...

Thank you for sharing this with us!!!

Thank you so much for all your kind comments! I might write a few short little one-shots after this, I have so many little scenes in my head I'd like to put to (digital) paper for this pairing. We'll see though, I don't have nearly as much time to write as I once did.

Thanks again for going on this wild adventure with me!

Okay this may seem totally weird, but I picture his song going something like the tune in "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from The Life of Brian by Monty Python: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlBiLNN1NhQ

Thanks much for your kind comments :D I plan on drawing a picture of Patrick on his clown costume, and coloring it and everything. I dunno when I'll get it done though haha.

P.S. And of course I couldn't kill Batman! He's the goddamn Batman! XD

Coincidentally, I also think that "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" is totally a Joker-esque song in and of itself. I mean look at these lines!

Always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath
Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true
You'll see it's all a show
Keep them laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you!

I mean does that not scream Joker or what? :D

Well, I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this story. I've been lucky, hell, blessed is more like it, to have been introduced to this pairing by some of the best writes for it. You included, obviously. :D

Both characters are just so spot on that, all crackishness aside, I believe they're meant to be together. In whatever capacity they're written, they compliment each other in the most amazingly twisted way and I like that.

I have a lot of favorite parts. I enjoyed Patrick removing the prostitute's stomach and intestines and the fight that ensued between them before they settled their spat as much as I loved their first encounter. Never been into the 'idea' of the snowball as my first recollection of it was from watching Clerks, HA! but now I see it as one of the hottest things ever. Not to mention the Joker riding Patrick with the bit in his mouth was so poignant an act following Patrick's assault on Maroni's daughter. Loved it ( ... )

Thank you so much! High praise indeed. :) I'm a romantic at heart so the end is a bit squishy... just the way I love it. And definitely I could not kill Batman. I agree that Joker just wouldn't be the same without him! I think he needs a Batman and a Patrick in his life ;D

Thanks very much for reading and sticking through the whole thing with me!

This was really worth the wait! <3

I kind of pictured Batman and Patrick both as Chrisian Bale, so this part was sort of confusing. But also too funny!

I love how this is concluded, Patrick is as freee as he can be now.. and with those two characters, this kinf of happy ending is believable (which is a nice change, usually you don't get this with well-written fics that feature Joker).

I wonder why they didn't kill Batman. Would that have been too much of a change for Joker?

When J sang that songggg~ <3 I was dancing the happy dance inside ^_^"

...and they lived happily everafter XD

Yeah, I just don't think Joker would be the same without Batman! And Patrick, well, he's happy to do what makes Joker happy I think? Hah :D

Thanks for the comments! I'm so glad you enjoyed the ending.
