Today's dumb poll!

I'm open to suggestions about how you guys think I might actually pull this off. As of yet, I only have a vague idea swimming around in my head, and I still haven't decided whether or not this would be a good idea. (I'm leaning towards it's a bad idea that I might do anyway

Holy shit! I came close to a hemorrhage when I read that. I can't even describe how happy it would make me if you wrote it. Even if it sucked terribly, I'd still probably read it three times. You honestly have no idea how much I am in love with that book and it's characters.

When you finished WYWM on Questionable Reality, my life was over for a few months. I was one of the people online begging you to continue the story back then.
Go for it, I know it'll be brilliant.

That would be amazing, really. WYWM is our (me and ai_saki) favorite of your original stories. It's just so driving, y'know? Like it goes on and on and on and you STILL aren't off the climax, yet. Multiple plots are the best fuck-buddy ever.

You ended the story on a pretty concise note (and the Alec/Skye sidestory fills in all sorts of other lovely details), so there isn't much extra backstory you could scare the pants off us with (. . . I don't think).

It'd be kinda fun to see some new characters trying to fuck things up, being fucked up, and fucking. (That was really not alliteration. Really not.) But, y'know, I've come to think that whatever you write, I will read, and probably enjoy. ^_^ I mean, if you've only written one origific that didn't have me on the edge of my seat, that's a pretty damn good track record, don'cha think?

*shrug* Fast Falls the Eventide. Just couldn't get into it. Any Other Name was boring my pants off until the Theo's-parents-thing, too. ^_^ But I gave it a shot, and it rocked. Yay~ *waves little flag* They're all lovely, though.

But definitely, if nothing else, Alec will still be the narrator.

Good. Because otherwise, it just wouldn't be WYWM. ^^

And Isaac! There must be lots of Isaac and his florescent hair! <3!!!! ^____^

I have no idea what you'd do with the characters now, after the end of WYWM, but go for it! **want to reeeeaaad**

Just had a thought: Crates. The WYWM universe definitely needs more Crates. I mean, really; he was so staggeringly cool, and then was only in the last few chapters! More involvement, backstory, more-important-character status, something. The world needs more Crates, man! **makes this a new campaign** **and then stops commenting at 2 AM**

I adore Crates. I actually already know his backstory, and I've been playing with it for quite some time. He'll definitely have appearances.

YES! **punches the air triumphantly** My quest has been fulfilled! Plus, his guaranteed involvement means that Isaac will most probably be there a lot, too! ^_______^ Go ulterior motives/two-birds-with-one-stone-ness!

I would love to read about Alec and Skye some more and see their relationship flesh itself out (you could write about the death of Skye's father since we all know it's going to happen and then you'll have some lovely Skye angst for Alec to help with *halo*)

If I did do this, it would probably take place several years after the end of WYWM, for a couple reasons.... 1) I so don't want to deal with the trial issue, and 2) I'd have to let their lives stabilize some if I didn't want the whole thing to be one stinking pit of angst.

This means that (unfortunately) Skye and Alec's "first time" probably would be before the beginning of the book (now there's a sidestory just begging to be written, even if it would be utter smut), and Jared may or may not already be dead... I could swing that one either way, but quite frankly I'm really *not* interested in dealing with that... I may go ahead and leave him alive so I can kill him in the book anyway, though. Like I said, I have very little of this planned so far.

My only suggestion is that it should have freakishly large amounts of Ethan in it, because sometimes I go into Ethan withdrawal-- which usually leads to me rereading the entire book.
