i'm having my wisdom teeth removed on tuesday. the 12th. of july. i'm scared. i'm scared of the anesthesia, but i'm also too scared to do it without the anesthesia

what resort? Playa del carmen is awesome. Xcaret is a pretty cool park, but only worth it if you take the underground cavern river thing. that was an awesome experience. Also, if you have the time, watch the "Mexico" play at the end, wonderful exposition of my country's history, heritage and culture. Other things worth visiting are the mayan ruins in Tulum and Chichen Itza and Xel'Ha. Didn't get to go to Chichen Itza and Xel'ha though :(

You will survive both the wisdom teeth and the plane ride just fine!
Plane ride - squeeze the hand of that man of yours til you relax or he screams. I'm sure he'll take excellent care of you.

Wisdom teeth. Definitely use the anesthesia! You'll feel like an absolute 'tard when it's over. You'll be drugged out and won't be able to talk, or eat, or drink, or smoke (but you quit that nasty habit, right?). On the up side, you get lots and lots of great pain killers. You'll feel great in less than 24hrs.

i survived the wisdom teeth. i could talk just fine, and yes i quit smoking. i also haven't had any pain so i haven't taken the hydrocodones. surprising huh? i just itch really bad.

That's fantastic! Save those hydrocodones for recreational purposes. Or surviving plane rides : )
