when you think about it, many many songs are all about love. is it because people can relate to it, or because it is so cliche that it is the easiest thing to write about. most songs are about how somebody loves somebody else but can't have them, they're in love, they've just had their heart broken. call me a cynical biatch but whats all the hype

it's because love songs are generic and lame enough that there's plenty of suckers out there who can be easily taken in by them, and have the time and will to spend money on whatever the music can be attatched to.
basically, they suck.
