Today, I was actually productive. So productive, I decided to write about it. Usually, the only time I spend at my apartment is in between classes (sleeping) and after work (also sleeping). Nathan,

You've begun a posting rampage that is nothing less than amazing. I feel that you haven't received enough responses to encourage this great behavior that allows some of us the opportunity to experience your world. Therefore, I have decided to respond.

I too have noticed that certain activities can make a day feel all the more productive. I've had random cleaning spurts and it always is great to have that obvious end-product (especially if the place was hideous before). Sometimes, if I have a day that involves me sitting on my ass for extended periods, simply playing basketball for an hour is enough to make me feel good for the day.

Routines are great because they allow a person to organize their day and maximize their efficiency. Breaking those routines for some spur of the moment activity is what really makes a person feel good though.
