[Canon] The Big Bang Theory
[Point Taken from Canon] End of the third season

[Sexual Orientation] Oh lord. Who would ever want to mate with Sheldon is beyond me. He seems equally disinterested in that sort of thing too, but from the looks of the last episode, I'd say hetero.

[Other] Any other significant physical features, like missing an eye or something.
[Clothing] Sheldon likes colour. So his usual wardrobe consists of plaid and brightly coloured t-shirts that usually revolve around comic books. Here's a few examples.

[Background]
Wiki's are so nice.

[Personality]
To describe Sheldon in one word is easy depending on who you are. Some say he is a genius while others say that he has an inflated ego. These are all true. In addition to these lovely qualities, Sheldon is also calculating and cynical and doesn’t support Leonard’s crush on Penny.

Despite his intelligence, Sheldon is socially inept. It’s not that he doesn’t have any friends…because he does. He just finds it difficult to maintain more than four friends at a time, that’s all. It’s hard to find people who he finds suitable company and vice versa. Needless to say, Sheldon isn’t an easy person to get along with because even his close friends have put up with many of his odd habits. He often belittles his friends in subtle ways insisting that even though they're top in the field, he's the one who knows best. So is Sheldon a bit of a jerk? Yes. Sheldon finds it difficult to emotionally identify with others and he fails to understand sarcastic jokes and acts almost disgusted when Penny becomes sad over her breakup. It’s not that he no emotion, it’s just that Sheldon has the sort of mind that would do the more scientific thing than the more morally right one. Sheldon isn't very empathetic and any one of his friends would tell you that. He’s not swayed by woman’s beauty and his friends spoke briefly about how he would reproduce (asexually if you're wondering). He does have a sense of humor, but it’s one that isn’t exactly mainstream. In fact, it’s difficult to imagine what would make Sheldon laugh. Lately, he's taken to using the word, 'Bazinga!' as his way of indicating a joke.

Sheldon is scientifically inclined and enjoys comic books, video games and general science fiction just like his friends. He often makes Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Stargate, Star Trek and Star Wars references, but the one he holds close to his heart is Star Trek and Mr. Spock.

Due to his OCDness, Sheldon pretty much has a set schedule about how he likes to do things. Paintball ensues every weekend and Halo nights occur every Wednesday. When he finds out that Penny’s apartment is a mess, he takes it upon himself to sneak into her apartment at night to clean it. He claimed that there was no way he could sleep knowing that he’s living in the same hallway with something so messy. Almost everything in the apartment is labeled and suffers from mysophobia which means he can’t have people touch his food and he showers twice a day. Bathroom times are scheduled accordingly in the apartment as per his and Leonard's roommate agreement. His personality also leaves him with a very strict diet which he refuses to stray from. He doesn’t drink coffee or alcohol because he promised his mother that he wouldn’t do drugs while he lived in California and instead drinks diet coke. If he does consume the tiniest amount of alcohol, Sheldon becomes rather energetic and boisterous. Either way, getting Sheldon drunk always means a good show not that this mun is encouraging it or anything...

Many of his qualities also remind people of a child. He doesn't really realize it, but he does have to have his way or he'll tend to start protesting and whining more than usual. Sheldon hates getting interrupted and tends to put up a bit of a fight when he doesn't know something. Like a child, he hates hearing people fight and will try and won't be ashamed to show it by crinkling his lips in frustration or trying to drown out the fighting. When he gets sick, that's the signal for everyone to get the hell out of the apartment because Sheldon's personality becomes ten times worse when he is. Penny seems to be the only one who can put up with him when he is. His lack of ability to keep secrets also kept him from working on a top secret military base. His mother is also one of the only people that can keep him in line, a talent probably acquired from the many years of raising him in the first place.

Even though Sheldon does have strange behavior, he has been known to be kind at some points. When Penny was low on cash, Sheldon let her borrow a large amount of money from his savings account and didn’t seem to care whether or not he got paid back quickly. When he forgot his keys, Penny allowed him to stay in her apartment until Leonard got back and Sheldon thanked her quite sincerely. He even drove her to the hospital when she dislocated her shoulder, never mind that he couldn't really drive to begin with. The first time he ever showed physical intimacy with anyone was also with Penny during Christmas. When Penny got him a napkin signed by Lenoard Nimoy (the actor of Spock), Sheldon, who had bought multiple gift baskets for her to choose from, gave her all of them and a big hug to boot.

[Specialties/Abilities]
With an IQ of 187, Sheldon is a genius, albeit a very egotistical one. As a result he’s very intelligent and not only knows a lot about his own field, but also about many other things that most people probably wouldn’t ever bother to know. He’s a whiz with the computer and knows pretty much anything there is to know about well...anything! Being a bit of a dork though, his lanky frame doesn't contain much athletic ability. He does walk up three flights of stairs every time he has to go somewhere in his apartment though because of the lack of elevator, so Sheldon to a certain extent does have some fitness. Sheldon is probably fairly decent at paintball, Wii bowling and actual bowling. He's pretty skilled at any sort of video game you put in front of him as well.

Despite his huge brain, it doesn't compensate for the fact that he has no idea about anything of the socializing kind. Humor, sarcasm and irony are lost on him completely. Sheldon has gotten better in the department of empathy as the series progresses, but not by a lot. Don't expect him to be comforting people left and right; emotions still do make him uncomfortable.

[Affection] Sheldon is awkward. He doesn't know how to hug so you can bet kissing is out of the question too.
[Fighting] Maybe you if challenged him to like...a battle of the wits or a video game, Sheldon would win. But anything physical is laughable. He can't fight to save his life (even if he is versed in childish tactics from growing up with an older brother and twin sister). Ping me if you want to do anything though.

[Other Facts]
Sheldon does his laundry at 8:15PM every Saturday night, is allergic to bees and cats and has asthma. His IQ is 187 and is unbearable when he becomes sick. He’s very picky about where he sits based on various factors such as optimal TV viewing, lighting and cushion density. He loves trains, monkeys, cannot keep secrets, isn't sure how to hug someone and has two restraining orders to stay away from Stan Lee and Lenoard Nimoy respectively.
