I dont want to sound like a poser, but i'm going with garth on this one. You probably would've guessed I wouldnt go with the philosophy, but why you are doing it is at least decent. I'm glad you arent leaving the religious scene because you hate Jesus or anything. However, you must realize that by doing this, you're causing Mother Terisa to roll around in her grave.

this may come as a surprise to you...but a lot of marian girls, and i mean a lot don;t believe in God. Many times in class girls refuse to lead prayer, because they simply do not believe in a Divine creator. Our teacher was initially irate at their refusal, but has now come to terms with it. The rest of us just lead prayer a lot more. Many a days we have discussion of our exact beliefs. Many Marian girls find church to be just a whole lot of rituals and rather unnecessary. We have discussions about women brining their crying babies to church and whiny little kids- if they don;t want to come, don;t make them, i say. I really think you would be intrigued by some of our discussions. if only you went to marian. *sigh*
