Today's storm

OK. Fairly significant storm today. Good news is that the damage is still light. Shingles off some of the local houses facing the water, and a bit of water damage on the lowest houses. Better news - my house is unscathed at the moment. Bad news - high tide is still an hour away from when the enclosed pics were taken

Wow. And I thought Collins Cove was bad. Amazing what a mile and a little shelter will do.

I hear ya. While I don't have to worry about getting flooded because we are on a high spot and the beach is at the end of the block, we do have to worry about the one road that leads out onto the peninsula getting flooded. I drove it this morning and things looked good. No water going over the wall and the waves were small. Good luck to you! Hope your boat is stored high and dry! (Speaking of which, when you put in this year, can I come crew for you?)
