So the first day of teaching, we are playing the people search "getting to know you game". And I introduced myself as Sara to one of my students. Ha, classic. I am an idiot. Luckily he was good about it and said "I'll just forget your first name." Leave it to me to do something dumb like that

-non teacher friends will generally only pretend to listen to the stories you have about the kids
-sleep as much as possible (seriously, pretend you're an old lady and go to bed at 10)
-don't fall too far behind in the MSU stuff - you still have to do it even when you're 100% engrossed in the classroom
-find a reason to laugh at yourself every day or else you'll go crazy
-remember that you're doing what you love to get through the rough days, and that it's okay to cry
-the end of april will be here before you know it!
you'll be fine, and you'll make it!! i'll like the kid stories, even if other people don't.
