Differences Just Unfair

So the night guys have to creep around as softly as possible or the cops get called for noise disturbance. How about those day guys doing construction outside my window? Wish that it were reasonable to call the cops on them for their noise disrupting my sleep. I am unwillingly awake and shaky weak like a vampire forced out during the day

I remember once when I was living with Kati... she was so disrespectful about the fact that I was working 3rd shift... she took the money I gave her for house bills, and replaced my good curtains (which blocked the light out and allowed me to sleep during the day) with frilly ass lace curtains which did nothing. We got in a fight about it, and I ripped the curtains down, threw them in the bathtub, and pissed all over them. People don't realize how much life sucks for 3rd shifters.

I am 'good' at sleeping. I sleep in daylight, through traffic noise, garbage collection days, doorbells, kids shouting at each other on the way to school, friends chasing a bat around the house with a bucket, etc.

What bothered me was that I had no notice from my landlord that the gutters outside my bedroom were going to be replaced -- the workers on their ladders triggered my home invasion sixth sense!
