i love this :) this was very sweet, and weirdly enough this is pm how i see baekhyun and chanyeol's relationship working out (if they were in a long-term relationship lmao) -- i feel like the way you wrote the two of them was pretty spot on, what with chanyeol's independent nature and baekhyun's dependence on chanyeol/his being lost without chanyeol ("Remember when I had to grab you by the arm when we were going into the city for the first time" i assume this is referencing the bajillions of airport photos where chanyeol's holding on to a lost-looking baek haha :D :D i do feel though that chanyeol's a bit clingy himself (apparently it makes him "feel safe" or sth?) but yeah, baekhyun's pretty much a lost puppy). and um this is quite how i see their personalities play off against each other. i love chanyeol's spontaneity (...and escapism) and the gnome part is just ridiculous and weird and very chanyeol! i love the way baekhyun handles chanyeol's departure/their insecurity and how, in the end, he'll always accept chanyeol no matter

I'm going to go and throw myself off a staircase because this fic was so heartbreakingly beautiful and I just don't know what to do with all of my feels now. Do I drown in them or?

But seriously, props on writing this - I really admire people who think outside of the box, and that's what you've done here. I think too many people have tunnel vision when it comes to relationships and don't think about factors and emotions that can affect them. Most people just have this unconscious belief that once you're in a relationship you're happy forever unless a massive tragedy strikes or someone has an affair. Which is completely not true - well else would so many couples break up every day. I digress
