Hmm. As soon as traffic dies down some I'm heading north, but I don't actually know where I'm going yet. I think I'm going to just zoom up on the 5 tonight. Anything close enough that it can be saved for a long weekend while I'm at work in LA I'll want to skip.

So for all of you in the Bay Area, what are your plans for the weekend?

I'm going to a party on Saturday night at John Smart's house. Bunch of futurists, scientists, programmers, geeks, and all around cool people. You're welcome to join me if you like.

If you've got some really good parking spot recommendations I'll take them. But I'm usually pretty happy driving around until I find a supermarket I like.
