[RL with Tieria -- I'm glad you're alive, now START TALKING.]

((Backdated to the 19th or 20th.))

[The spare room in Mikaela's house always seemed small, crammed as it was with boxes of the things no one quite wanted to throw out but didn't fit anywhere else in the house. They didn't have an attic and the basement was full of overflow from the garage, so into the spare room it had gone. It was even more cramped now, with the addition of a cot; Mikaela'd had trouble finding somewhere to fit the chair so she could sit and wait for the cot's occupant to wake up.

The possibility that she could wait in her room, or out in the hall or something, hadn't even crossed her mind. It didn't even matter that she knew now that Tieria wasn't in any immediate danger of keeling over dead--she couldn't help but feel if she left for more than a few minutes, he'd disappear on her.

Not. Happening. Again.

So she sat, crammed in near the head of the cot, with her feet kicked up on a box and her computer on her lap to pass the time, waiting. Occasionally, she glanced over at Tieria, as if to assure herself he really was still there.]
