Seriously, how is Cloud so damn amazing? Will I ever love another fictional character as much as I do Cloud Strife? I think not.

Those hallucinations were terrifying. The scene with Cloud, Zack and the VR goggles was so powerful, I could almost feel Cloud's panic at what was happening.

I had forgotten what a pleasure it is to read your FFVII writing. Thank you for posting this, it reminded me why you'll always be one of my favorite writers in the fandom (and here's hoping you will consider continuing this snippet!).

I've been following Fusion since 2006 (when I first discovered that the world of fanfiction existed), and it really makes something inside hurt to know that the older version most likely won't be updated anymore. I really wish that there were more of the new version to devour, but it seems unlikely to happen anytime soon, and the whole situation has got me quite despondent. A friend of mine said it best: it's like being a fan of The Song of Ice and Fire, knowing that the author has these wonderful ideas just rolling around in his head, but none of them set to pen and paper, and the next book is coming out in another decade for all his fans may know. Your writings are extremely addicting, and similar in feel to Patricia McKillip, which I also can't put down. Is there anyway your faithful readership can cajole you into writing more for this new version of Fusion?

Thank you so much for this lovely comment. I am truly sorry to have disappointed you like this, and I really wish I could continue writing the old version of Fusion, but for the time being at least I don't feel that I can.

This newer version of Fusion, however, is something a bit different. Although I'm currently not that involved in the FFVII fandom, I do revisit this fic and am adding to it slowly but surely. I hope that someday soon I will have something more substantial to show you :)
