[ There's a clattering, then a sharp retching sound in a female voice. Nothing is visible, it's just a voice entry, but there is clearly something not good going on. ]

No - Oh, no - [ Those that know her will recognize the voice as Hermione, and from here on, the strained sounds of her painful struggle will be a little more obvious that it's her. ( Read more... )

[ No, goddammit, Harry Potter D<. HARRY POTTER YOU IDIOT - She doesn't even know, doesn't even know who she is, so when she hears feet behind her, she turns and snarls for a moment before ducking behind a tree. Still. Silent. A hunter waiting for her prey. ]

[ Silence, still. Dead silence. And then, just as he grows close enough to pass her, for her to hear his breath and smell him, she lunges forward with a snarl. She bares her teeth, growls... Yep. It's time to eat you. ]

[Lily is going to pop to Hermione the moment she hears her. Being a ghost has it's advantages. She can't actually be hurt but at the same time, she's quite limited in what she can do.]

Hermione, we need to get you somewhere safe. [Not that she really expects Hermione to recognize who she is but she's hoping to lead her somewhere. Just...not entirely sure where either. Her plan, so well thought out.]

[ What the ever loving Merlin's stupid edible face is this floating thing?? Seriously??? The wolf growls at it, snarls, snaps... And is not happy to learn that it's intangible. What are you, why won't you die? ]

[The snapping is an odd feeling but it doesn't hurt. Lily drifts back a bit, hoping to lead the wolf away somewhere. Maybe deep into the woods.]

[ Lily is ... successful in luring the wolf, at least for now. This foe is strange and lacks a distinct scent and it's not okay with worlfmione. Not at all. So chasing is happening. angry, snarling chasing. Yup. ]

[The problem with being a Gryffindor is having this innate tendency to find trouble without looking. Ginny is not the exception. She also didn't check the network before venturing out into the forest with her broom over her shoulder, meaning to head for the Quidditch pitch.

Because nothing says relaxation like running into your wolfed out best friend, right?]

[ooc; getting a little roughed up is a-okay with me as well!]

{{ooc; if you want to like drop this and handwave i will totally understand holy fucking crap i am so sorry 8( }}

[ Which means that it's only natural that Ginny's scent is what makes her lift her head and start sniffing frantically around, right? Familiar but so very unfamiliar and distant in the wolf's mind, she is nothing but a snack. And stumbling upon such a small and cute snack is just as lucky. The wolf's mind sees her as vulnerable, so very vulnerable, and makes its approach quickly instead of in covert fashion. This one will go down easily. Have a little growly rumble, Ginny dear. ]

[It's never entirely safe in the forest, this Ginny Weasley knows firsthand. It's been a little over a year since being ambushed by a pair of City monsters just outside the boundaries of the cabin and though she knows the path to the pitch well, she knows anything can change in an instant. And it does. That growl has her grip tightening on the handle of her broom while her free hand flies to her back pocket to draw her wand; it could be anything, really, so she doesn't turn around just yet, but her guard is up.

She keeps walking, slower this time, more wary.]
