Title: Distraction
Author: Knowmonsta
Pairing: Lee SungMin/Park KyoungMi(OC)
Words: 483
Genre: Fluff
Summary: In which both parties concerned learn that having your significant other as a martial arts training partner is a bad idea.

Note: I think it's really cool that SungMin has a black belt in martial arts and I thought it would be fun to write a story about him training with his girlfriend. I hope you guys like it!

~ Distraction ~

As the two stood in the middle of the dojo, SungMin makes sure that KyoungMi's sparring gear is on securely. When he's done a final check he resumes his position in front of her.

"Close your eyes," he instructs. "Anticipate my attack using only sound."

KyoungMi nods and closes her eyes. She focuses intently on the sounds of SungMin's feet hitting the padded floor. She soon has the pattern memorized: first swift steps from left to right, next slower steps farther away from her, and finally a charge forward just to throw her off.

And then, there's a pause in the sound. She smiles: he's coming.

She raises her hand and her forearm comes into contact with the back of a foot. She opens her eyes to see SungMin grinning, his balance still perfect as he wiggles his toes in front her.

"Excellent," he says as he retracts his leg. He kisses her cheek. "Let's do it again."

But KyoungMi can tell that this wouldn't be nearly as easy as it was the first time. When she closes her eyes, a vision of SungMin's face replaces the darkness that should have been there. Her cheek still burns from the kiss. Her focus is broken.

And as a result, she doesn't hear SungMin moving in for his next attack.

The punch to her stomach knocks her to the ground. She doesn't move. SungMin quickly drops down to her side.

"Are you okay?" he asks worriedly and she nods.

"The wind just got knocked out of me," she says breathing hard.

He grins.

"You lost your focus didn't you?" he asks and the blush on her face gives her away. He laughs.

"I knew it!" he exclaims.

"If you didn't go around kissing people during practice I could focus!" she replies clearly flustered and SungMin grins.

"Making things difficult for you is fun," he says kissing her nose. He stands and helps her to her feet.

"You wanna try again?" he asks.

"Give me five minutes," she replies, patting her cheeks and SungMin laughs once more.

When KyongMi pulls herself together she takes a deep breath and closes her eyes again. For a second time she memorizes SungMin's movements within seconds despite the change in his pattern. The lack of no false attempts to attack her has her senses on high alert and she is now sensitive to every step he takes.

When he finally attacks, she cuts him off by sticking her foot out in one swift movement. SungMin hits the floor of the dojo with a loud 'thud'.

"That was good," he groans out. "Painful I might add, but good."

KyoungMi laughs and kneels next to him.

"That was for 'making things difficult'," she says with a smile and a quick kiss to his forehead.

SungMin groans and decides to stop with the flirting. If he didn't, his body was sure to suffer.

The End!
