I hickupped once at starbucks and once on the way home. Not sessions of hickups. One individual hickup at starbucks, and one individual hickup on the way home. Is it normal to just hickup once?

hm--dunno. but, you wouldn't be alone. a girl that sat behind me in math did it as well, every once in a while. it made me laugh just like i did last night

About as normal as getting excited and pooping yourself. So yes very normal.
