DCW Wiki~ Personality:
Don't let the cute face and smile fool you because she is not just a pretty face. If she doesn't like you, she will definitely let you know it. Quite possibly even let you know it with her 2-dan in Aikido. Most of the time, she speaks before she thinks. She doesn't care what others will think of her for expressing an opinion.
When it comes to Heiji, she can easily be driven to act childishly and jealous. He is her childhood friend and proudly believes that no one knows him better than she did. When she thought that Ran was the mysterious 'Kudo' that Heiji kept talking about, she was less than kind to her. It got worse when Ran and Heiji unintentionally dressed similarly. They became fast friends when she finally saw that she was a good person after all. Sometimes, she also admits that she is jealous of the close relationship between Conan (the real Kudo) and Heiji.
She thinks for herself and doesn't always do what she is told to do, even if it is for her own good. If she wanted to see Ran's play she will watch despite the discouragement from Heiji. Ran was her friend, she didn't see why she couldn't.
If asked if they were dating, she is quick to deny it and say that they were 'just' childhood friends. She insists that she was like an older sister to Heiji and that she just takes care of him because his mother worries about him. In other words, her following him around is because she believes that Heiji often needs a babysitter. The childhood friends have screaming matches a lot for the most ridiculous reasons, like buying the wrong flowers when they visited Conan in the hospital.
Despite her tendancy for childish behavior, Kazuha can be very mature and does understand her feelings for Heiji well. Unfortunately, because she knows him well she knows he wasn't exactly ready to hear them. Not when Heiji was still a little kid and never left the sandbox when it comes to romantic feelings. Despite this, she would still give up her life so that he wouldn't be hurt.
Kazuha is a superstitious person. She believes in charms and spirits, but also incredibly afraid of ghosts. Despite being afraid of ghosts though, she is much too curious and would not let herself be left behind on an opportunity to find out the mystery. As scary as ghosts and monsters are, they are intriguing. She also carries around a charm that has part of the cufflinks she and Heiji wore together as kids.
Surprisingly, she has good instincts and pretty perceptive. Even while in the middle of running for her life or running in fear, she can still catch clues and small details that may help with a case.
In the latest chapter, she is a very determined person. She tried to show her impressive determination by trying to confess her feelings to Heiji for Ran and she finally did but --- Heiji ran away before she could finish.

Samples
First Person Sample: The sample must take place in Route_29's setting. Eight sentences is the minimum. This is a PokéConnect post--one that will be on the character's journal, broadcast to the network. Although it is short, it needs to show how your character would communicate with others, as well as be descriptive enough to express the character's voice without sounding too generic.
[ Video ]
[ The turns on and shows the face of a pretty Japanese girl with a ponytail. It seemed she just woke up though, because her ponytail was a bit disarrayed. That wasn't all. It also looked like she was less than happy by her current situation. How could she be when someone --- claiming to be her mother had just came in. And despite all her shouting insisting that she wasn't her mother, the woman wouldn't listen and just told her good luck on her journey. ]
Heiji!
If this is your idea of some kind of joke, it is not funny!
[ Kazuha crosses her arms in front of her and turns around with a hmph. There is a noticeable accent in how she spoke that a few may recognize. Suddenly, a Poochyena jumps up to her lap and began happily licking her face. At the show of affection, she does give a little smile despite her determination to stay mad. ]
If you think I am just going to forgive you by giving me a puppy, then you have another thing coming!
Third Person Sample:
This was not Kazuha's morning. That much she was certain for now.
For a moment, Kazuha could just stare with her jaw dropped in surprise at the woman in front of her. She never considered herself a stupid person. It is true that she was not as smart as Heiji, but she never though that anything would ever confused her as much as this woman was.
"Mo...mother?" she muttered quietly, blinking at the older woman. "What do you mean you're my mother?!"
Kazuha had a mother and knew what she looked like. This woman in front of her was not her. This made Kazuha more than a bit angry at this person who was thought she could impersonate her mother. Despite all her shouting and demanding, the woman seemed to remain calm. In fact, she acted like Kazuha's childish behavior was normal.
It didn't help. For Kazuha, the woman felt like she was being condescending and that made her angrier. Why wasn't the woman giving her answers that actually made sense?
While Kazuha and 'mother' were arguing. A Pokeball fell off the table and out came a sleepy-looking Poochyena. It perked up when it saw Kazuha though and ran towards her. Kazuha didn't notice at first though since she was still trying to make sense of what the woman was telling her. It took her a while to finally notice the little dog that was rubbing against her legs affectionately.
For the first time since she got up that morning, she smiled and bent down to pick the little dog up. "Awww... you're so cute," she said. "Where did you come from? I don't remember seeing you here this morning." While she was distracted by the Poochyena, the woman finally exited the room so that her 'daughter' and her new Pokemon could bond.
