While it may be cliche, it's not unuseful. The broadcast itself is useful, but of course, supplies would be even more so.

All we need to do is look out the window and see it's a blizzard out there.

Although... Even if they did restock the supplies at this point, it would be pretty difficult for us to retrieve them, wouldn't it?
