Even though it was an act of instinct, the fact remains the the bull was the one to finally kill the princess. Likewise, the princess may be forgiven for ignoring the warning signs in the wake of her emotional distress, but that doesn't relieve her of fault. The prince and the king were more removed from the unfortunate event, but the prince was more to blame than the king because his actions were entirely self-motivated.
