i don't know if Ocean State Job Lot is like a local thing or not.
if you have an Odd Job, it's like a bigger one of those.
it's basically a store full of not so high quality, low priced junk.
i love it.
today, i got a coat there.
no.. i'm serious.
it's lovely.

i made the pin.. like the black part came seperate from the silver base. i have an extra one of the black part, so i was going to mail it to you so you could figure out if it IS her. but it's kind of beat up.

my grandma's house is odd.
my uncle owned this property in front of his house and he constructed a two floor, narrow apartment thing. he rented out the bottom to a contracter friend of his and made the top an apartment for my grandma. so it's really this one floor deal. i like it, but i miss the house she used to share with my grandfather. i loved it. or maybe i just love the memories there. i used to read with my grandfather a lot. and lay with their dog on his floor while he read. and ask him stupid questions that he didn't laugh at.

i'm ending the nostalgia trip. sorrygarrett.

love,amber
