FreeBSD crushed during kernel recompilation
If you are recompiling FreeBSD kernel and server suddenly rebooted.... most likely it won't boot anymore without some kick from your side.
Symptoms: kernel "not found" or "cannot dump no dump device to find"
Step 1)
Try to press Esc as soon as you have seen
FreeBSD/i386 bootstrap loader ...
than try to load previous kernel instead of broken one.

сравниваем с размером самого ibdata1 , и, если надо, делаем dump - restore -
