"Every war in the last 300 years was caused by religious belief. More than 90% of suicides are comited by religious people, over a religious matter. More than 90% of all crimes are commited by religious people."

uhh, source please? Just to comply with your rule #3, of course. Which is quite a good rule to keep, I must say.

and really, when you consider the size of the organizations, its not really too surprising that they have that much money. (not saying that I agree with the Catholic church on a whole lot of matters) Also, rates of child abuse among priests isn't higher or lower than most professionals. That said, the church's response when they knew what was happening, was inexcusable. As a note, I'm protestant. We let our clergy marry =)

and that is a ridiculously cool avatar! hope you don't mind that I've friended you.

I honestly cant remember the source as its such and old bit of info that i like to throw around, tho i asure u i didnt make it up.

Yes i realize the Catholic church is huge, what im trying to say is its a massive waste on something thats based on a fictional story which has been eddited and re-writen and added to for so long i cannot belive anyone could take it more seriously than harry potter!

Whats worse? A random setting fire to a forrest, or a fire fighter setting fire to a forrest. Its not about the amount, its the fact that they spend theyr entire lives saying how to be a good person, this is right, this is wrong, but then they make theyr own rules.

If u havnt guessed, im very much aethiest. And if u want me to make you an animated avatar of a sport or other random thing, just ask.

And for a site i asume you will hate (no not porn or anything like that) go to http://www.thebirdman.org/

Seya.

Interesting views, and a nice philosophy, but pretty much only in principal. Just like Communism, Socialism, Libertarianism, Republicanism, and Democracy, his views are just another way that things could hypothetically work, but in real life, theres something called human nature ( ... )
