Has anyone seen a big black dog around?

So I was skiving off history of magic walking across the grounds yesterday and this big black dog started playning with me. rather...odd really. I have no idea where he came from. Then Lupin kicked me in the shin and started yelling at the dog

Dog? I'd imagine any dog that dared set foot on this campus would be eaten up by whatever's in the Forest. I heard it was werewolves. Evil, vicious werewolves. That like their ears nibbled by said dogs.
