EW, GROSS!!

Okay, some really unsolicited, but obviously needed advice.

People: If you feel like you're going to throw up, DO NOT GO SHOPPING. It is a BAD idea. BAD. As in NOT GOOD. Why? Its gross to clean up adult amounts of puke. It is unsanitary. And it may trigger someone else at the store who is a sympathetic puker to puke, too. And then there is twice as much adult amounts of puke, which is Four times as much as I ever want to clean up *EVER AGAIN*.

Also, while you're at it, if it is something that hits you suddenly, run for the bathroom, grab a garbage can, or a bag to puke in. Even more disgusting than two people puking is when one of the two people just lets the puke spurt out. Like hey, this happens all the time, if I ignore the fact that I'm puking, it'll go away. If you are a frickin' adult, there is no reason you can't at least *try* to puke into something instead of just letting it run down your face and shirt onto the floor. And if you aren't sure if you're done or not, don't just sit down in front of everyone and keep puking all over yourself and the floor. If you think you might puke again, GO TO THE BATHROOM. And no, I will not wipe your shoes off. You puked on them, you clean them off, its bad enough I have to clean up 4 separate puke splotches of varying sizes, plus the two registers, and the cart you puked all over, you can clean your own person just fine.

In general, I have not had nearly as much trouble with sick kids (or their parents) as I have with these adults today. The two times I can recall in the last 5 years that I've had to clean up after a kid, it was only because the kid (and/or the parent) haven't been able to make it to the bathroom on time, and was no where near as much as today.

So my day was sucky in the grossed out sense. I don't think I'll eat for quite some time. (I haven't eaten since lunch, and I still have no appetite.)

Can I has a day off now, please?

gross, work
