Lunch meeting

Aug 26, 2007 22:07

Gage was used to the best. His father had made sure he'd been introduced to the finer things of life from an early age so when it came to something like wining and dining he was used to it all. He arrived at the restaurant, the private dining room having been booked already. He stood beside the fireplace, the hearth cold and filled with an impressive display of red, orange and gold flowers instead of the flickering flames. The meal, a five course luncheon that e knew would suit Roger's known tastes had been selected. There's been little modification to the menu to ensure Michael's tastes were also met, the man appearing not to have too many preferences from all the research Gage had had done.

Now he only needed to convince Roger that FLAG would provide him with enough interest and opportunity to carry on the works he had already indicated were his focus.
