arrrrrrrghhhh this cat will not take his pills. i managed to get half a valium down his throat, but he wont take his other pill. i haven't tried with the liquid yet. i think i am going to let the valium kick it (it takes about 15 min for humans so i am going to assume 7.5 minutes for cats) and then try the rest of the meds when he is all mellow

huh...I have had cats of one stripe or another for 30 years, but never "pilled" one...good luck.

thanks!! so far i have given him his pills, but not the liquid, and i am COVERED in scratches.

i tried this. he escaped and was even more upset at me. i think i need to work on my technique for wrapping him in the towel. :(

they have pill pocket treats out there, i'm not too sure where you can get them, but you just put the pill in it and the cat thinks it's just getting a treat :D
