I was watching Judge Pirro out of boredom, and she said something that I really started thinking about. There was this case where this kid, only a year younger than me, wasn't allowed to see his dad because his mum had an affair and was ashamed to admit it. Basically the guy paid child support diligently, but they never talked or got emails or whatever. o3o
The judge said that "71% of all high school dropouts came from fatherless homes", and then said that "85% behaviour problems were caused by lack of a father in their lives".
This made me wonder...if my mom had had a consistent relationship (because she's been through at least 10) when I was growing up after my dad left, would I have been more committed to completing high school? I remember when in middle school, I'd go visit my dad and he'd just rag on me about my grades o____o so...I really don't know. It was just something interesting to think about.
Jobhunting today n_____n oh, joy joy joy joy. Then coming back and seeing if my neighbour still has that PS2 PC controller; I need to get an LP done of Fatal Frame II. Or finish Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh (BEST.HORRIBLE.GAME.EVER.)'s commentary playthrough. I seriously have not rofled this hard since AIM convos with indelible_x lololololol omfg.
