I have a legit question: Could Twilight be good if someone OTHER than Stephanie Meyer wrote it? Or is it the genre that's terrible (i.e. most supernatural fics/books/media being written WRONG/not right/wonky/awkward

I think it might be ok if her characters weren't so dang flat. If just Bella actually had a personality and could be interesting on her own, it would be ten times better already. lol.
